Today (Day 145) on the 365 card blog there is an ad inpired challenge. Ad inspired challenges are always difficult for me - but this one came together fairly quickly. I had the CB background already done from my 'playtime' yesterday, so I completed it with inspiration from the ad. The butterflies in the ad caught my eye and then I noticed the letter down in the right hand corner. I have had these monogram stamps for quite some time - bought them from the Michael's dollar bins - and have wanted to do some monogram cards for awhile. I had bought monograms for each of my kids, hoping to make some cards for them to send out notes of thanks, or whatever to friends and family. Notice the color scheme - it is the same as my card kit that I mentioned in an earlier post - however, I had some cameo coral cs, so I used that from my stash and then used the ink spots that came with the kit. I didn't have any ribbon to match, and didn't want to use the ribbon from the kit, so I grabbed some white grosgrain and ran it across the certainly celery ink spot creating the green ribbon. The brads are from basic grey.
Thanks for taking a peek.
