Kissing - it's not just for . . .

I will let you finish that sentence! :) However, if you want to know WHAT in the world I am talking about, you will have to hop on over to Top Tip Tuesday for this weeks tutorial from my teammate Maggie. The challenge is to use two different stamps on your project. For my sample, I actually used three different stamps. I stamped a two-step rose under the flower spray - you can barely see it peeking out of the top and bottom of the spray. Then I used the sentiment stamp. I took my colors from a Stamping 411 color inspiration from a few weeks ago. I haven't used these flowers from Wild Orchid Craft in quite a while and it was fun to use them again. I may have to look into placing an order with them soon as there are some of the flowers I have used in the past that I have run out of and it always seems that I don't quite have the colors I want. The inspiration colors are Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red. I tried to use flowers that came close to this color selection as well and think they came out nice. I used crumb cake seam binding ribbon, but am not as crazy about the bow. I used a sketch challenge from another blog - but I cannot remember now where it was from. It is always easier for me to find a sketch to follow - it cuts down on the time it takes for me to grab my creativity and run with it.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you a glimpse into what I have done over the last couple of days and to encourage you to join our challenge this week at Top Tip Tuesday. We have some awesome sponsors.

Finally I'm catching up with you. Mad few days with the SU Party which was so good for my friends who didn't know about SU. Love this floral spray with the 2-step rose (I got the Level 2 Hostess 2 step & am excited to try that technique with my SU Markers. Love the way your Crumb Cake cardstock & Seam Binding combines eith the aqua colour here.
The MCC (where I've been doing the Colouring Course) link is http://www.mycreativeclassroom.com/. it's US based though Glenda who teaches colouring 101, Rubber Stamping - Back to Basics & Terrific Techniques is British. I've loved all the courses.
Much love
