It is Day 147on the 365 card blog and the challenge for today is to scraplift one of the DT members cards. Vicky is the one giving the challenge, so I decided to take a look at her blog and choose a card from there. For my challenge, I chose this simple card that she made during the 'Shortcuts' week. She used a stamp set that I didn't have, but I DID have the Tart and Tangy set from SU, so used that set for my card. (I think this is the first time I have used this set!!) She bound two pieces of plastic together for her card base, but since I didn't have that, and didn't really want to bind anything together, I just used the image idea for my card. I did choose to use flower eyelets at the top instead of ribbon and I punched all the way through the cardstock. I overlayed a piece of vellum to create the softer look. The vellum I used has some texture on the front of it too. I found the sentiment stamp in my collection and thought it fitting for this card.
Thanks for taking a look and thank you to Vicky for the inspiration for this card.
